Deck Day Log - Add a Log
To create a new Deck Day Log Entry navigate to the module and click the “New Entry“ button in the top right of the screen, populate the required information then Click the Create button at the bottom of the detail form.
General Information
Date and Time are required fields and must be added to create a new entry.
Location should describe the vessel’s general location, this could be a marina, shipyard, anchorage, or an approximate location like “Atlantic Ocean” if underway.
Underway If the vessel is underway, tick the Underway box to reveal the From and To fields. These allow you to record departure and arrival points.
Description, use the Description box to add any relevant notes or details about the day. This could include operations, incidents, or general observations.

Position & Weather
Latitude and Longitude of the vessel can be added.
Weather information, can be added using the drop down lists for quick data entry.

People & Activities
Capture who is onboard and what activities are planned:
Crew Onboard – Select crew members who are currently onboard.
Guests Onboard – Select any guests who are currently onboard.
Activities – Record any guest activities that were enjoyed during the day.

Top Tip: Crew and Guest fields will auto-populate based on who is currently marked as onboard. Clicking into each input field will show a drop down list of active crew and guests for easy selection or adjustment. Keep the Crew and Guest modules up to date to streamline adding Deck Day Logs.
