Scheduling FAQ's
❓ What is a schedule?
A schedule defines a task that needs to be completed on a recurring basis, based on a set calendar interval and/or hours of operation (Equipment hours).
Think of a schedule as a template that automatically generates tasks according to the set pattern and due criteria.
❓ Is a Schedule the same as a Task?
No.
A Schedule is the template — it defines when and how work should happen.
A Task is the action — a Task is automatically created from a Schedule and needs to be completed.
While a task is linked to the schedule that created it, it is a separate entity that can be edited independently, when completed the schedule is updated to reflect the new due criteria.
