Documentation - Nav Menu
There are a number of different Documentation Libraries available, each designed for a specific type of documentation to ensure your documents are grouped logically and are easy to find and manage.
Vessel Reference
A central library for general vessel documents that don’t have a dedicated library—ideal for service reports, receipts, correspondence, and other essential documents that need to be easily accessible.
Drawings
Organise technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout plans. Each drawing can be linked to all relevant equipment that it references, ensuring ease of access throughout YMS. When a drawing is updated from here, the changes are reflected everywhere it’s linked, meaning you always get the most up to date information.
Manuals
Keep all user manuals, equipment guides, and operational instructions in one place to ensure the crew can easily access manufacturer-provided documentation for onboard systems and equipment.
MSDS - Material Safety Data Sheets
Consolidate all your safety data sheets for all chemicals and substances used onboard and link them to the relevant inventory for easy reference.
Photos
A central location for viewing photos you have included in the Documentation Libraries. While photos are typically best accessed in context—attached to equipment, tasks, or inventory—this library offers a quick way to browse and locate images as needed.
SMS - Safety Management System
Centralise all SMS-related documents, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and forms required for compliance with ISM Code and onboard safety management.
ISPS - International Ship and Port Facility Security
Maintain ISPS Code documentation, such as security plans, access control procedures, drills, and training records to support compliance with international maritime security regulations.
