Scheduling - Suspend & Activate
This guide explains how to suspend and activate schedules. You can do this individually, in bulk, or in relation to specific equipment. This functionality helps control what tasks are automatically populated on your task list and ensure that only relevant tasks are presented to you.
When to Suspend a Schedule
Suspending and Activating schedules is especially useful in the following scenarios:
New Builds: During the vessel build phase, you can enter all your schedules in advance but keep them suspended until handover when the vessel becomes operational.
Dry Dock Periods: When a vessel enters dry dock, certain maintenance tasks may not be performed and can be temporarily suspended.
Equipment Breakdown: If a piece of equipment is broken down and awaiting major repair or service, you may want to suspend planned maintenance until it is operational again.

Suspend/Activate from Grid View
You can update multiple schedules at once using the multi-select feature in the grid view.
Go to the Scheduling module grid view.
Use the checkboxes to select one or more schedule records.
Click the Suspend or Activate button depending on your intended action.
One way to suspend multiple schedules is to filter the grid to show only the relevant schedules, then use the “Check All” button in the grid header to select them. In the example shown below, this method is used before clicking the “Suspend” button to apply the action in bulk.
