Dashboard - Tasks Tile

The Tasks Tile allows you to quickly view and complete tasks directly from the dashboard, without needing to navigate through the Tasks module. The tile provides an at-a-glance view of tasks, with convenient filtering and one-click completion.


Task Filters

Located at the top of the Tasks Tile, the filter drop-down lets you choose which tasks to display.

Available Filter Options:

  • My Tasks – Shows tasks assigned to you, your Position or your Department.

  • Due / Overdue – Displays tasks that are due or past due.

  • Inspections – Displays scheduled inspection tasks.

Note: These filter options match the logic of the Tasks Sub Modules.

Tile Contents

Tasks are displayed in a simple, three-column layout:

  1. Equipment Name – If the task is linked to a specific piece of equipment.

  2. Task Subject – A brief description of the task.

  3. Complete Task Button – Allows you to complete the task with one click.

Interacting with Tasks

You can interact with the tasks listed in two ways:

  • Click on a Task Row – Opens the task in a dialog where you can review, edit or add related information.

  • Click on the Complete Task Button – Opens the Add Log Entry Dialog allowing you to enter details of the work that has taken place and complete the task.
