v6.25.11-6.1

Release Date: 06-Nov-2025
Release Type: Major

Summary

This update delivers a complete overhaul of the Purchasing module, enhancing performance, adding user-requested features, and improving integration with the Inventory module for a smoother, more efficient inventory and purchasing experience.

✨ New Features

  • Purchasing | Bulk Add
Now available in both the Inventory module’s Grid Views and the Purchasing module’s Line Items tab. Easily add multiple inventory items to a Purchase Order at once.

  • Purchasing | Suggested Amounts
When adding inventory to a PO, YMS will now automatically suggest purchase quantities based on each item’s maximum holding level. It calculates the total amount currently onboard and recommends the quantity needed to restock up to the maximum. This feature works with both single and bulk add options, helping you populate Purchase Orders faster and more accurately.

  • Purchasing | Receive All
Quickly receive an entire Purchase Order and automatically update the inventory stock levels at preferred storage locations, saving time and ensuring accuracy.

  • Purchasing | Support for Non-Inventory Line Items
You can now add and receive non-inventory line items for one-off purchases. These can also be easily converted into tracked inventory items directly from the PO when needed.

  • Purchasing | Export Line Items to Excel
You can now Export Purchase Order line items directly to Excel for flexible sharing, reporting, or analysis with suppliers and stakeholders.

🛠️ Improvements

  • Purchasing | Line Items Tab
Line items have been moved to a dedicated tab for consistency with other modules and to provide a more focused area for managing order details.

  • Purchasing | Receive Options
The options for receiving single line items have been simplified and now include intelligent defaults, making the process faster and easier to manage.

🐞 Bug Fixes

  • Scheduling | Changing Schedule Pattern
Resolved an issue that prevented users from changing a schedule from “Calendar + Hours” to “Hours Only.” You can now freely switch between schedule types as needed.
