Equipment - Manage Related Tasks

Learn how to add new and manage existing Tasks that are related to the selected piece of equipment from the dedicated Tasks tab.

Create a Task for the Selected Equipment

Tasks can be created for equipment using the Add Task button.

  1. Select the equipment to create a task against.

  2. Hover over the Speed Dial and choose Add Task.

  1. In the Task dialog, the equipment, category, and location fields will be pre-populated if set on the Equipment. Enter the task subject a description and any other details.

  2. Click Create, and the Task will appear in the Equipment's Tasks Tab.

Edit a Task for the Selected Equipment

You can edit / update a Task related to a piece of Equipment from the Equipment's Detail form.

  1. In the Tasks tab, find the task you want to edit and click the edit (pencil) button.

  2. Update the task details in the dialog and click Save to apply your changes.

Complete a Task for the Selected Equipment

You can also complete an outstanding Task related to a piece of Equipment from the Equipment's Detail form.

  1. In the Tasks tab, find the task you want to complete and click the Complete (Tick) button.

  2. You will be prompted to create a Log Entry, add all relevant details in the dialog and click Complete.
