Inventory - Views

This guide outlines the different views available in the Inventory Modules, the Grid and Category views work in the same way as the rest of the application however the Location view works slightly differently and the Card view is unique to the Inventory module. These views are designed to enhance your workflows when managing Inventory stored in multiple locations enabling you to keep Inventory up to date quickly and efficiently.

Expired at a location, this Icon is used throughout YMS to indicate “Expired“, in the Context of Inventory this means a storage location for the selected inventory is in an expired state.

Below Minimum or Low Stock Icon is displayed when the Total stock Onboard is less than the Minimum Holding Level that is set on the Inventory.

Location View

The Location Tree is built using storage allocations rather than the Inventory, if Inventory is stored in 3 separate Locations onboard it will appear 3 times in this view, if the Inventory does NOT have a storage allocation it will not appear at all in this list, you will need to use another view to assign Inventory a storage location.

The Inventory Label contains Name, Manufacturer, Part Number and 2 quantities displayed like this (5/9) in this example 5 are stored in the “Stbd Stabilizer Space“ but there are 9 in total onboard.
