Adding Photos

Photos can be added to various records, such as Equipment, Inventory, Tasks, and Log Entries using the Photos tab on the record’s Detail form. This feature is designed specifically for image files and allows you to visually document defects, work completed or anything else that may be relevant.

Top Tip, if you are using a Mobile device like a tablet or phone you can use the built in camera to snap photos directly from the application.

  • From a Records Detail form navigate to the “Photos” Tab.

  • Add a new Attachment using the Add button.

  • If you want to include the photos in the Photos Libraries, check the box.

  • Once Photos are related to a record they are displayed as thumbnails in the Photos Tab, you can view in full screen and edit details using the buttons. You can also delete to remove the photos relationship to the selected record.

Deleting the Photo from this tab only removes its link to the selected record, it does not delete the file itself. If the Photo is included in the Documentation Library, it will still be accessible from there.
