Setting Default Views

Most modules in YMS support multiple “views”, allowing you to display information in the format that best suits your workflow and chosen device.

Typical Views include:

• Grid View

• Category View (Tree View)

• Location View (Tree View)

• Card View

Accessing Your Default View Settings

1. Open the User Menu by clicking your Avatar (Top Right).

2. Select the “My Settings“ Option

3. Navigate to the Default View tab.

Setting Your Default Views

You can configure a preferred “Default View” for each module.

1. From the Default View tab in the “My Settings & Preferences” Dialog locate the desired module.

2. Select your preferred “Default View” using the drop down list.

3. Save your changes.

The selected default view will automatically be used each time you open the module.

Changing Views

You can switch to a different View at any time, and YMS will remember your selection for the duration of your session on the device you are working from.

This allows you to temporarily work from a different View without changing your Default. This is particularly useful when switching back and forth between modules during specific workflows where an alternative view is preferred.

The selected View will remain active until you Refresh the page, after which, YMS will revert to the Defaults you have configured.
