Using the Bulk Update Utility

Most modules have an Update Records Utility that allows users to update multiple records in one go instead of individually. This functionality is only available in the grid view utilizing the multi select check boxes in the grid.

  • Select the Records to be updated by checking the boxes in the Grid view, in this example we will set Equipment to Monitor Hours.

  • Click on the Update Records button.

  • Choose which value you would like to change.

  • Enter the new value which should be applied to the selected records.

  • Confirm the number of affected records is correct and save the changes. The Grid will update automatically to reflect the change you just made.
